PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS
EMF PRODUCTs Are A 9.5 Billion Dollar INDUSTRY
According to Credence Research, The EMI or Electromagnetic Interference materials industry is projected to be $9.5 billion by the year 2026. This is due to the convergence of three primary trends:
Growing awareness of the importance of EMFs to our health
Lack of regulatory bodies in the US for managing and monitoring the health impact of EMFs
Absence of any agency to validate the viability of product claims
COMMERCIALISM
The commercialism of these trends will unfortunately reveal individuals and companies whose primary interest is commerce and not ethics and human health. There are many products out there vying for your attention to “protect” you, “absorb” harmful EMFs, “transmute the EMFs”, “shield you” and “reflect them”. While there are numerous products that perform as their companies say, there are just as many that do not. In addition, due to the complexity of various types of fields and how you need to protect against them, you could buy a perfectly good product, but it was actually intended to protect a different kind of field or in a different way.
OUR EVALUATION APPROACH
Below are some product categories that we have measured and have held up to the claims of their companies and to the Building Biology Institute’s Home Health Standards. The last section, Misleading Product Protection Claims is an overview to help you spot potential fakes and some that we have tested and prove to not do what they claim or do not do enough to fall within the “No Concern” range of electromagnetic fields or radiation according to the Building Biology Institute’s Home Health Standard.
We are objective educators in protection of electromagnetic health and we are not paid to test these products. We purchase all the products and test them numerous times with devices calibrated to the fields and field strength present in an environment. We will not provide large assortments to choose from but for each item, we will only include the product that is the best in it’s class. In some cases, the best is the most expensive, so we will provide low. medium and high price points if available for each type of product. You will see that some of the products will be changed out over time as we come across more superior items. Check back often as we will continue to add more products as they are tested and evaluated.
