ELECTROHYPERSENSITIVITY SYNDROME (EHS)
EHS is characterized by a variety of non-specific symptoms that differ from individual to individual, similar to COVID-19. This is because EMF radiation affects the nervous, immune and endocrine systems differently in different people. The symptoms are certainly real and can vary widely in their severity. EHS can be a disabling problem for the affected individual.
EHS Statistics
Depending on the country, various Department of Heath studies report between 3-13% of the population as suffering with EHS. The highest were Germany at 9% and Taiwan 13.3% both self and medically reported. The US has approximately 331 Million residents. If you apply the same percentages the US could have potentially 9-43 million people suffering from EHS.
Memory loss, brain fog
Inability to concentrate
Stroke
Elevated blood sugar levels
Skin disorders including, tingling, flushing, rashes
Irritability, anxiety or tension
Light headedness or vertigo
Mood swings or depression
Inability to concentrate or loss of productivity
Some symptoms of EHS:
Speeding heart rate, heart arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation
Fatigue
Disturbed Sleep
Tinnitus
Sinusitis
Muscle spasms or involuntary finger, arm, leg twitching
Seizures
Paralysis
Nosebleeds
Nausea and digestive disorders
After reading the symptoms you can see why this could be hard to detect. Most of these symptoms are also symptoms of other illnesses or health related causes. In addition, the diagnosis of EHS is tricky because individuals suffering from this may be exposed to electromagnetic fields from a variety of environments and behaviors.
What do you do if you suspect your have EHS?
An individual should have their environments measured for electromagnetic fields by an expert trained in measuring various electromagnetic fields. See ’what you can do” to find a consultant. If the fields measured in the living or working environments exceed the Building Biology Precautionary Guidelines (SBM-2008), then it is suggested that you may go to a doctor that specializes in EHS to have diagnostics run.
There are very few doctors trained in this area to run the protocol that has been determined best to identify EHS.
